Each agency is allowed to implement NHPA/NEPA in their own way. And since they have the tacit approval of CEQ, there is no voice within the executive branch to say no. Other folks (Congress, courts) need to do their jobs.

Whether or not the news is a revelation, I've been on a slow path toward disentangling from FB for a couple years. Still, I find some of the service (connecting with old friends/fam, some job stuff) valuable. My time/data reclamation strategies, should they be helpful to you: 1/5

Marx wrote in Capital (1894), “If the thing is useless, so is the labour contained in it; the labour does not count as labour, and therefore creates no value.” Pondering the meaning of these words in regard to archaeological field data on Marx’ 200th birthday

I don't usually engage trolling but it is worth reminding you all that being a (female) social scientist in public often means dealing with this hostile shit. Even worse, this in the service of defending one's "right" to mock trans people. Fuck all of that. Protect yourselves. https://t.co/SMfNcw4xdc
