I have returned!
I have returned to this blog after a near two year hiatus. I have been very busy in the world of archaeology and some of those exploits may filter their way here eventually. Right now I will provide some of the highlights and the current focus of this blog.
First, I finished my M.A. in History last spring, 2015, from Southern New Hampshire University. I provided a testimonial while I was attending there. I was able to write my final paper on the Salubria plantation in Prince George's County, Maryland. Focusing primarily on the enslaved girl Judah and her tragic life.
Second, I am working in the cultural resource management (CRM) field for a firm where I primarily focus on evaluating the potential impact of telecommunications projects on cultural resources. It is fun and allows me to travel to different parts of the country.
Third, Archaeothoughts came back to life earlier this year on twitter. Archaeothoughts is currently focused as my tagline on twitter says "The intersection of archaeology and pop culture that you didn't ask for!" Where I write and retweet about things that interest me in archaeology, philosophy, and pop culture. Until I get myself more disciplined about publishing blog post, most of the content on this page will be from my twitter feed.
